    Dear Entrepreneur,

    Home Employment Plus, owned and operated by Five Pillar Profits Inc., was created in 2007 with a noble mission to provide folks from all walks of life with legitimate, profitable and enjoyable home-based business opportunities, plus supporting resources. 

    As a veteran, I was searching high and low for years, trying to find the perfect opportunity to work from home so I could spend more time with my family, while supplementing my second career earnings, ever since I retired from the military. I was often ridiculed by many who knew me for spending hours upon hours on the web searching for something to do, anything that could help support my family and I. I just wanted a way to make money and not lose it, as I soon found to be the case with countless scams all over the Internet. Make no mistake, without at least some assistance and guidance, the work from home environment can be a callous and unforgiving one for a newbie. I found this out the hard way.

    Like many of you, I also stumbled upon all types of web sites offering some "too good to be true" matrix schemes and promising all the money in the world. Yeah, right! Nothing was off limits...from stuffing envelopes, multi-level marketing, high yield investment programs, to selling all types of useless products. I'm not proud to admit that I've been deceived a few times along the way, losing not only my hard earned money and time but also a little self respect in the process. My frustrations finally hit a boiling point and that's when I decided to dedicate the last five years of my life to not only finding out everything I could about work from home opportunities and providing among the most legitimate ones on this site, but also supplying a complete home employment resource selection to be found from one home employment website on the Internet. I didn't want to see others go down the same road I did. As with any sincere undertaking in life, this  site continues to be a work in progress.

    If I may impart a bit of wisdom, one thing I've learned in life is that there are just as many ways to succeed as there are to fail...it all depends on if you're a glass is half full or half empty type of personality. As you embark on your home based business enterprise, please remember that success doesn't come easy. Along with much patience, it also takes a constant supply of direction, drive and determination to reach your goals. Trust me, on your path to success, you'll no doubt encounter "pebbles of discouragement" along the way as we all do from time to time. When this occurs, do not allow anyone or anything discourage you or stand in the way of your dream of achieving your personal, financial and business success. You must improvise, adapt and overcome.
